Introduction & Scope

Welcome to JAIS ("we", "our", or "the Company"). JAIS provides users — institutions, individuals, and enterprises — with intelligent financial advisory, portfolio management, and data analytics services through its digital platform.

By accessing or using JAIS services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy and any supplementary guidelines.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the user and JAIS. If you cannot accept the terms in good faith, please discontinue use of the platform immediately.

These Terms apply to all users of the platform including but not limited to browsers, clients, merchants, and contributors of content.

Platform Services

JAIS provides a comprehensive suite of financial services accessible through our secure digital platform. Our core offerings include advisory, analytics, and portfolio optimization tools.

  • Real-time market intelligence and data feeds
  • AI-powered portfolio analysis and rebalancing
  • Regulatory reporting and compliance tracking
  • Dedicated relationship manager support
  • Secure document vault and audit trail management

JAIS reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at its discretion, with reasonable notice where applicable.

User Responsibilities

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that all information submitted on the platform is accurate, current, and lawful. Misrepresentation or fraudulent activity may result in immediate account suspension.

  • Maintain up-to-date KYC and compliance documentation
  • Safeguard login credentials and report unauthorized access
  • Adhere to applicable securities and investment laws
  • Obtain prior written consent before sharing platform outputs
It is strictly prohibited to use platform data or analytics outputs to engage in market manipulation, insider trading, or any other unlawful financial activity.

Confidentiality & Account Credentials

Users must maintain strict confidentiality over their account credentials and are responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts. JAIS employs bank-grade encryption to protect data in transit and at rest.

  • Never share login credentials with third parties
  • Enable two-factor authentication where available
  • Notify JAIS immediately of suspected unauthorized access
JAIS reserves the right to suspend accounts pending investigation if we detect unusual access patterns or suspicious transactions that may indicate a security breach.

Data Ownership & Security

All data, documents, and reports generated on the platform remain the property of the respective client. JAIS acts as a technology provider and operates in its capacity as a data processor.

  • Personal data processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws
  • Data may not be shared with third parties without explicit consent
  • Users may request data deletion at any time
JAIS shall not be held liable for data loss or corruption arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to cyberattacks, force majeure events, or third-party service outages.

Subscriptions & Payments

Access to premium features of the JAIS platform is provided on a subscription basis. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 7 days before the renewal date
  • Pricing may be revised with 30 days' prior written notice
  • Late payments may attract a penalty as per the contractual agreement
  • Invoices are issued electronically on the billing date

JAIS accepts payments via bank transfer, UPI, and approved corporate payment gateways only. All transactions are processed in Indian Rupees (INR).

Service Interruptions

The platform may occasionally experience interruptions due to maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues. JAIS endeavors to schedule downtime during off-peak hours and will provide advance notice.

  • Planned maintenance communicated 48 hours in advance
  • Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice
  • Cyber incidents or force majeure events
  • Third-party service provider failures
JAIS does not guarantee uninterrupted access and shall not be liable for any losses arising directly or indirectly from service interruptions beyond its reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, JAIS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages however caused.

  • Loss of profits or anticipated savings
  • Loss of goodwill or reputation
  • Business interruptions or data loss
  • Investment losses arising from reliance on platform analytics
Aggregate liability of JAIS under any circumstances shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by the client in the three (3) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination & Suspension

JAIS reserves the right to suspend or terminate platform access with or without prior notice in the event of a material breach of these Terms.

  • Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
  • Non-payment of dues beyond the agreed grace period
  • Any violation of applicable securities or regulatory laws
  • Conduct deemed harmful to the platform or other users

Upon termination, all outstanding obligations (including payment) remain enforceable. Users may request data export within 30 days of account closure, after which data may be permanently deleted.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Nothing in this clause shall prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
